Having a natural skin glow makes you look glimmering. It is the results of well nourished skin. To achieve that we have to work on both our physical appearance and our internal organs. What goes into our bodies is equally as important.

Here’s MY top 5 skin tips for glowing skin
1. Drinking lots of water
Water is a natural detoxifier, it cleanses your organs. Drink at least 6-10 cups of water in a day. Start with a full glass of water every morning before you do anything.
2. Sun protection factor (SPF)
Protect your skin against sun rays. Direct exposure to your skin is not good. Always use sun screen, hats and umbrellas. Sunscreen is so essential for your daily skin routine. Use it through out all seasons. Apply after using your moisturizer to avoid it from being diluted.
The numbers on the SPF are equally as important – SPF 15 allows you to stay in the Sun 15 times longer than you could without protection.
Exfoliating keeps your skin clean and clear. It deep cleanses the root of all impurities. We are advised to at least exfoliate 2 – 3 times a week.
My recommended homemade exfoliating remedies:
A table spoon honey, table spoon brown sugar and 1/2 a teaspoon water.
Add sea salt into your bathing water.
4. Green tea
Green tea has a lot of benefits to cleansing your skin. To name a few it cleanses the organs and protects your heart health.
5. Eat clean
Consume less salt and sugary foods. Add fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet they have a lot of protein. Instead of boiling your vegetables, stem them.
Vitamin C is also good for enhancing your skin. It can be found in citrus, lemons and oranges.
