Still in woman’s month let us not forget to treat ourselves, ladies. In this post, I’m going share with you self improvement ideas that will change your life forever!
It is advisable to improve our lives and lifestyle in order to change the way we live, the way we think and most importantly the way we adapt to different surroundings and situations. We have to challenge the boundaries and limits we put to ourselves. I hate to say it, but this is a push we all need.
Here are some boss babe habits that will change your life:
Set up good daily habits
Always plan your day the night before
Look after your self
Manage your finances (save, save,save)
Treat yourself, practice self care- take yourself on solo dates, pamper yourself with a face mask once in a while
Develop a consistent morning routine
Learn to start your day early
Have a set of goals written down and review them once in a while
Listen to motivational podcasts. My current favourites are On Purpose with Jay Shetty and Oprah’s Super Soul Conversations
Get better sleeping habits. Sleep 8 hours every night
Surround yourself with positive people, ones that motivate you and ones that always offer to help you out in your time of need
Read books, improve your vocabulary and expand your knowledge
Become BFFs with positive affirmations. Say your affirmations every morning before heading out to the world and every night before bed
Always be on the lookout for new opportunities
Revisit your goals once in a while
Always journal your thoughts, ideas, plans, feelings and goals
Gain as much knowledge as you can
Stop complaining and appreciate how blessed you are every day
Embrace loneliness and reinvent yourself in the process
Cut ties with the people that don’t bring you peace
Exercise everyday to boost your mood.
I know I have started with a few already and honestly it has been absolute bliss. I have taken upon myself to skip 100 times every morning before breakfast, I plan my week every Sunday, I’m enjoying Jay Shettys podcasts, every night before bed I light up my vanilla scented candle and treat myself to a cup of herbal tea with a slice of lemon. These are small changes, but the benefits are long term.
