How journaling has helped with my Manifestation journey

I can’t imagine my life without writing down my thoughts and ideas. How else was I going to keep track of my goals? I don’t think there is a far better alternative to journaling. It sets the bar for me.

Journaling has helped me fight so many battles, both internal and external. It has helped me to put my thoughts into words and most importantly to take accountability for my actions. It has created a haven for me, my thoughts, prayers, achievements and goals. Furthermore, it’s all written there. The pen is the tongue of the mind.

Now how about I share with you a little secret, I use my journal for manifesting. So many of my goals and dreams have come to fruition after noting them down and of course, putting in the work. I started using journaling for manifestation a while ago but didn’t take it to mind because well sometimes luck can just be on my side. Until last year when I realized that for the mere fact that I took my energy and put my thoughts, goals and ideas into writing to scratching them off after accomplishing them. I noticed how I always find a way to work towards those goals.

So why not believe in magic? The law of attraction at its best.

To manifest something means to visualize your desire and harness the power of your imagination to make it a reality. In short, manifesting means making dreams come true. You may be familiar with manifestation, or the laws of attraction. After all, the process was the focus of a 2006 bestselling book, The Secret. Still grateful to my cousin, Keba who introduced me to the book — it has changed my life. Manifestation is bringing something tangible into your life through attraction and belief, i.e. if you think it, and it will come. Let’s not forget all the work you have to put in — your thoughts, actions, beliefs, and emotions have to align with what you want to bring to life. The key is consistency.

Manifesting can be done in so many ways. A few that are my go-to are journaling and a visual board. Everything I have noted down in my journal as things I want to achieve in 2021 I have them on my 2021 visual board, it’s even my phone and laptop screen saver. The more I see it the more I become motivated let’s say it keeps me in check to what I want to achieve.

Here are simple steps on manifesting

Be clear about your goals — be SPECIFIC
Ask what you want and write it down on paper
Work towards your goals
Be mindful of—and thankful for—what you receive
Let go of any resistance and limiting beliefs
Check your energy
Be flexible and trust the process

The best part about manifestation is its wide-reaching applications. The law of attraction knows no bounds. You can create whatever you commit to. When you use your mind and body as tools.
